Volunteers and Learners talk about Getting Started

Our volunteers and learners come from all walks of life.

We have tutors from Ireland and around the world, some still at school and others working for some of Ireland's biggest companies.

Our learners range from people who have literally never even switched on a computer before to those who know the basics but want a little more practice.

In the first of a series of videos you will meet the staff and pupils of Gaelcholáiste Mhuire AG in Cork, who volunteered to help some of the older people in their community to master new technologies, and hear from the learners themselves how their lives have been changed by Getting Started.

Getting Started with Gaelcholáiste Mhuire Cork

Carrigaline

Our Getting Started Computer Training programme in Carrigaline in Cork is just one of many vibrant groups all over Ireland.

Meet our volunteers Eamon O'Leary and Fadila Al Ubeidi and learner Mary Doyle who talk about what the programme has meant for them.
