Age Action staff members had the incredible opportunity to attend a prestigious Garden Party hosted by President Michael D. Higgins and Sabina Higgins at Áras an Uachtaráin. The event was a celebration of the outstanding work done by women's advocacy groups in community settings, and it was an honor for our team to be part of such a significant gathering.

Our representatives joined fellow advocates to recognise the remarkable contributions made by women in community groups. The event showcased the power of collaboration, highlighting how dedicated individuals can create positive change in their communities.

President Michael D. Higgins and Sabina Higgins graciously welcomed everyone, expressing their appreciation for the invaluable role played by women's advocacy groups. The warmth of their hospitality and unwavering support for community empowerment were inspiring.

As our staff members immersed themselves in the vibrant atmosphere and enjoyed the picturesque gardens, they couldn't help but feel immense gratitude for the chance to participate in this special occasion. It served as a reminder of the importance of amplifying women's voices, advocating for equality, and fostering inclusive communities where everyone can thrive.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to President Michael D. Higgins and Sabina Higgins for their recognition of the work of Age Action and to all those who made the event a resounding success.
