Age Action South

John O Mahony is the Development Officer for Age Action South and is based in Cork. His primary role is to develop a thriving Care & Repair Service in Cork and throughout Munster. Care & Repair is now very active in Cork City and the number of Care & Repair partners throughout Munster is growing significantly.

In addition, John works to develop all of Age Action’s Services in the region.  The aim is to establish a strong Southern base for Age Action, to be our voice in the region, and to provide older people throughout Munster with all of the valuable services that Age Action offers.

Age Action would like to acknowledge the support of St. Luke’s Home, Mahon for providing office space and other facilities since 2010. This has helped Age Action to establish a strong presence in Cork.

You might be due a tax refund

Revenue wants to make sure that everyone knows about the tax credits, reliefs and exemptions they are entitled to. Revenue wrote to some people recently telling them that they might be entitled to a tax refund going back as far as 2014.
If you think that you might also be due a tax refund for the year 2014, you need to submit a claim to Revenue before midnight on 31 December 2018. If you don’t want to miss out, submit your claim to Revenue before then.
