Take a snap and text PAP

Age Action are inviting their supporters – young and older – to participate in a fun fundraising campaign over Positive Ageing Week called You’ve been #PAPped! (Positive Ageing Photo).

Bank of Ireland has generously offered to support the campaign by matching the first 25,000 PAP texts pledged to donate €2 to the campaign!

It’s as easy as 1,2,3

TAKE A SNAP AND TEXT PAP
  1. Take a fun selfie with an older person in your life
  2. Share it on a social media platform of your choice e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. using #PAPped
  3. Text PAP to 50300 to donate €2.

We all have some extraordinary older people in our lives so now is the time to let them shine with our ‘You’ve been #PAPped’ (Positive Ageing Photo) campaign.

This unique social media campaign is part of Bank of Ireland Positive Ageing Week, with Age Action and Bank of Ireland working together to raise vital funds for services for older people across Ireland.

Your donation will be doubled

We are asking people around the country to take a selfie with an older person in their life; (a grandparent, parent, neighbour etc.), share it on social media and text a donation to Age Action.

The campaign will be officially launched by social media superstar James Kavanagh and his mum Margaret on Snapchat on Sunday 24 September and will run throughout the week across Snapchat, Facebook and Twitter.

Age Action will receive a minimum of €1.63. Service Provider: LIKECHARITY. Helpline: 076 6805278.

Bank of Ireland has pledged to match each €2 text donation for the first 25,000 donations. This means your donation could go even further in support of older people throughout Ireland.
