Human rights and older people - how Ireland is performing

This morning a coalition of 17 NGOs, trade unions and civil society groups, led by the Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) launched a report on Ireland’s human rights performance ahead of Ireland’s 2nd Universal Periodic Review (UPR) next May. Age Action, as a member of the coalition, welcome the specific inclusion of the rights of older people in the report, writes Naomi Feely.
