Age Action launches Annual Report 2025

Age Action was delighted to launch our Annual Report 2025 at our Annual General Meeting, reflecting on another important year of working with and for older people across Ireland.

Throughout 2025, our work continued to focus on supporting older people, challenging ageism and advocating for an Ireland where everyone can age with dignity, security and equality.

The year saw thousands of older people supported through Age Action’s services and programmes, alongside significant contributions from our volunteers. We also continued to advocate for older people at a national level, making submissions and engaging with policymakers on issues including income, housing, health, adult safeguarding and digital exclusion.

Among the developments highlighted in the report are the launch of Ireland’s first Age Positive training course, our national Time for Tea initiative and the convening of Positive Ageing Week 2025.

Our Annual Report also highlights the experiences and voices of older people themselves, demonstrating both the value of practical supports and the importance of ensuring older people’s needs and rights remain at the heart of what we do.

We would like to thank all of the older people, volunteers, supporters, partners and staff who contributed to Age Action’s work throughout 2025.
