Main areas of Responsibility:

  • Using a variety of software packages such as Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
  • Attending meetings, and keeping notes/minutes
  • Data entry including daily donations
  • Comply with data protection in recording opt outs, in memoriam tributes, legacy pledges and other personal information
  • Record and acknowledge all donations
  • Administrative support for events/activities
  • To support the process of following up outstanding income or return of merchandise and promotional information and resources.
  • To respond to queries from the general public (by phone, electronic or in person) about direct debit mailings, fundraising and events
  • General typing  
  • Filing and keeping accurate records
  • Keeping up to date and accurate records on the CRM 
  • To maintain office area, to ensure that it remains clean, tidy and well stocked with relevant material
  • To ensure compliance with all Age Action’s policies and procedures
  • To maintain a flexible approach to all aspects of the job
  • To attend meetings and training courses when necessary
  • Carry out all reasonable requests of the line manager
