Post of Regional Development Manager Care & Repair Programme (Ref: RDM0515)

Regional Development Managerwill be responsible to the Deputy Chief Executive for managing and developing all aspects of the programme in Dublin and the Northern region to ensure that its aims and objectives are achieved.

The Person

To succeed in this role you will need to have at least 5 years’ experience of community development. A track record of working well with groups and individuals is essential. Experience in managing a team of administrative and maintenance staff is necessary. A proven ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing is also essential.  Knowledge and experience of the needs of older people and the services provided for them would be an advantage. Knowledge of ageing issues and experience of working with older people would be desirable, but a willingness to learn about ageing and older people would be critical. A full, clean driving license is essential as the role requires travel.

Post of Regional Fundraiser Age Action West (Ref RFG0515)

Age Action is seeking to employ a Regional Fundraiser to undertake the development of our fundraising activities in the Galway and surrounding areas.  The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to speak and write fluently in English, proven track record in project management, presentation and organisational skills with a minimum of three years experience working in a fundraising environment and in the not for profit sector.  An in-depth knowledge of event management and planning successful campaigns is essential.  This is a fixed term contract for (21 hours per week). Post of Retail Manager Designate (Ref: RMD0515)

The Retail Manager Designate will be responsible to the Deputy Chief Executive in assisting in the management of all aspects of Camden St and Dun Laoghaire Shops.  This is a shared role with the existing Managers and the purpose is to maximise the store’s profitability.

The Person

To succeed in this role you will need to have a minimum of 3 years retail management experience in a fast moving retail environment.  We are looking for a committed individual who can deliver exceptional service to our customers and provide relief support to three shop managers in achieving their set gaols and targets through coaching and motivating the team.
