We are currently advertising two posts: Head of Advocacy & Communications and Website Content Editor.
The successful candidate will have excellent communications, presentation and writing skills. They should have a minimum of five years experience working in a senior communications or media role. An in-depth knowledge of the media and the Irish political system is essential. Experience of developing and implementing successful advocacy campaigns would be desirable. Digital marketing and video production skills, while not essential, would be beneficial. This is a full-time post based in Dublin. The salary will be between €49,124 and €67,461 gross per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who can work with minimal direction. They must have experience of preparing content for web audiences, especially with regard to meta data, keyword density and basic HTML. They must have knowledge of how to develop and maintain a content calendar, for both scheduling new content and reviewing older content. The person should have experience of building a social media profile to engage users and increase our social media reach. A knowledge of video production and/or graphic design would be beneficial. An interest in emerging web technologies and platforms that might benefit Age Action would also be desirable. This is a part-time post 2½ days per week based in Dublin. The salary will be between €15,330 and €21,632 gross per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
