My Prayer at Easter

Life these days can be pretty overwhelming.
There’s the ozone layer. And the recession. And crazy weather patterns. And wars that never end. To name a few.
And then there’s your life.
It takes more and more energy to just make it through. And every time you turn around, you, or someone you love, is having a crisis.
Debt, illness, and recovery from recession seem to be what everyone is talking about. Who has time or energy for anything else? Let alone helping our troubled world. You can’t keep your head above water. Taking time for creativity feels like a luxury you can’t even afford to think about.
However Spring is in the air
The days are getting longer and if we look … we all have a lot of be grateful for … and perhaps you might want to put that in words … words of a prayer. You then might like to share that prayer with us in Age Action.
We are running another prayer competition where we will combine all the prayers entered and select a few winners. These prayers will then be published here on our website.
The best 10 prayers will be read at a Prayer Service in Dublin, and these people will receive a certificate of Merit. The overall winner will receive a unique trophy.
To enter Fill in the entry form, attach your Prayer and send it to Age Action, 30 Lr Camden St, Dublin 2. or email it to Fundraising@ageaction.ie along with €10. Click here for the application form.
