Christmas Fundraiser Update
This Christmas we asked our members and supporters to help us raise funds for our advocacy and information service. We have sent a reminder to all our members and supporters to return their Christmas box as soon as possible as the funds raised will help us continue with providing information to our members and the general public on a wide variety of issues, such as rights and entitlements, security, elder abuse, accommodation, employment, age discrimination, health, leisure. We also provide an advocacy service on a wide variety of issues and concerns to older people and those working with them.
One of the main areas of work is our Information helpline. We operate a busy information service on ageing and older people's issues and services throughout the country. We receive an estimate of 6,000 calls a year and we need vital funds in order
maintain this high quality service.
